Prisma conducted the final evaluation of the Hot Academy project implemented by the Development Principles (DP) NGO and commissioned by Sign of Hope (SoH). The evaluation aimed to provide SoH and DP with a systematic and impartial assessment of the project, which supported employment and entrepreneurship among young adults in the hospitality and related sectors in Tavush and Gegharkunik marzes of Armenia.
The evaluation offered a comprehensive analysis of the project’s implementation and results, proposing actionable recommendations to ensure the sustainability of outcomes, identifying lessons learned, and providing valuable insights for future initiatives. Guided by the OECD DAC criteria, the assessment examined the project’s relevance, coherence, effectiveness, impact, efficiency, sustainability, and cross-cutting issues.
A qualitative approach was employed for data collection, with primary data gathered through key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions (FGDs), and small group discussions (SGDs). Secondary data were obtained through document review.
The direct target group consisted of young adults aged 16-35 from Tavush and Gegharkunik marzes.
