Prisma LLC conducted the baseline evaluation of the Building Resilient Communities in Abkhazia project to establish the starting values of key impact and outcome indicators and provide a robust reference point against which future progress will be measured. The evaluation was implemented in close coordination with the World Vision Abkhazia Programme (WV AP) DME Assistant, with Prisma providing overall methodological guidance and technical support throughout the data collection and data cleaning processes. The study covered all seven districts of Abkhazia (Gagra, Gudauta, Sukhum, Gulripsh, Ochamchira, Tkuarchal, and Gal) ensuring comprehensive geographic representation across the project’s intervention areas and inclusion of diverse demographic groups.
Prisma analyzed quantitative survey data from 342 direct beneficiaries, including facility users and youth participants. In addition, qualitative data were analyzed from 5 FGDs with club trainers and rehabilitation center staff, providing deeper insights into the implementation context, service quality, and institutional capacity.
